Centered in the heart of East Flat Rock, Studio 116 is one of the newest art spaces in Henderson county.

Daniel and Melanie Hopkins have been lovingly renovating this historic building to be a creative hub with an experiential gallery.

Studio 116 currently houses Melanie Hopkins’ and David Macvaugh’s studios with construction on working artists’ studios in progress in the building’s original boarding house rooms on the second floor.

Macvaugh’s Lifetime installation is Studio 116’s inaugural event. Lifetime will continue to be on display by appointment from October 19th - 27th.
