Kendrick Smith, an attorney from Atlanta and relative of Flat Rock residents will sign and read from his new novel “House on a Burnt Mountain” (Schroeder Publishing). This exciting thriller mixes American history, folklore and adventure in a mountain setting at a family’s storied lakehouse.
Additionally, internationally-known quilter Georgia Bonesteel will be on hand to “name that pattern,” so if you’ve been longing to identify that heirloom quilt have an established expert an identify it. She’ll also be signing her most recent book of patterns/memoir “Scrap Happy Quilts” (Schiffer Publishing).
